Flight Plans 2014 ♥

Yahoo! Finally the time has arrived!

Just like every other year, my family would go on a year end vacation somewhere. This year, we are going to Bangkok and KL. Though it's the same two places as last year, I'm still totally looking forward to the trip!

It's a really well deserved break I would say! 6 months into working and I haven't taken a full break from work. The time has finally arrived and I get my rest and relaxation and whatever you call it!

I'll be back on the last day of this year so really I probably will see everyone next year ^^

I'll probably also be doing a lot of reflecting on this trip. 2014 has been such an eventful year there's just so many things to think about and just reflect upon. I don't know what 2015 will be like but I know it'll be awesome!

If I have the time, I try to summarise 2014's happenings and list down my wishes for 2015. Of course most of my time and thoughts would be spent on thinking about work but at the same time, work is really rewarding.

Before I blabber on non stop about nothing really, I should get on with packing! I've not packed anything and we are flying first thing in the morning.

Oh dear me.

3CE Gel Liner & Waterful Concealer ♥

This is a super overdue post! I've planned to blog about the makeup items I've bought in Korea since July when I came back but I haven't actually completed it yet. Who knows, when my Korea trip 2015 comes around, I might not have finished writing about the 2014 trip. Hahaha. That'll be the worst case scenario though. I'll try to quickly finish up blogging about the trip soon~

So! I'll be talking about 3CE products in this post! It might be lengthy but I'm sure it'll be worth the read since 3CE is an upcoming brand. More and more people are interested in this brand and there are pretty good reviews about their products too. I'll be giving my honest thoughts and opinions on these products so do keep reading if you want to know more~

Jukebox #23 Boyfriend ♥

The weekend is here again! Despite trying to cover many topics and write many other blog posts, I haven't been able to complete many other than these weekend song recommendations! I hope you enjoy reading these and continue reading these posts! ♥

So this week I'll be featuring a song from Boyfriend! The song I'll be featuring is none other than their debut track, Boyfriend!

Though I like a few of the other Boyfriend songs, I still like this the most. Although the members had quite bad hair and were really young when they made their debut, I thought they were rather talented and were good at both singing and dancing. But like many groups out there, Boyfriend is a group that people don't really pay attention to. It's something I don't understand because most boy groups are quite similar. I guess it really depends on the music the group performs, time of debut and comeback and marketing or promotion strategies.

Let's not get to serious though! Haha.

Moving on, the lyrics of this song seems to be something like a proposal, a boy asking a girl to be his girlfriend. So basically, it mostly talks about promises and things he would do for the girl. Of course, everything sounds so sweet. I guess it's suited for this group since they were pretty young at the point this song was released so a cutesy song like this would've matched them.

I really liked the dance as well! To me, a song needs to have like a key dance move that stands out so that people can follow and remember. For Mich and I, we liked the hand moves in the chorus. Being total rebels, we listened to and sometimes even watched the MV during lectures! Those were the days. Hahaha.

Jukebox #22 대박사건 (Crash) ♥

In light of the recent lawsuit regarding BAP and their company, I've decided to feature BAP and recommend one of their songs this week!

Don't know when I'll be returning to the random way of choosing songs to recommend through shuffle but I guess that'll happen when I run out of groups to talk about. Right now, I'll basically choose a group and then recommend my favourite song of theirs. If you've any group you would like me to talk about, just comment or let me know!

My favourite song of BAP's would be 대박사건 (Crash)!

Included a live performance video as this song apparently doesn't have a proper MV. I had to show the cute dance moves somewhere. Hahaha.

Honestly, I'm not the one that's into BAP. It was my sister. Yes, you've probably read about my sister introducing this and that to me like super many times. So it was her (again) that introduced me to BAP. Though they aren't one of my top favourite groups, I do quite like some of their songs. And everyone's gotta be impressed with Zelo's mad rapping skills!

Out of all the BAP songs, I like this song the best! No particular reason why I like this song over the rest but I just do! I think maybe it's more towards the cheerful and cutesy side as compared to their other serious or heavier songs.

The lyrics tells the usual love story. I thought the lyrics were well written! The Korean title translates to 'big incident' and Crash probably fits quite well too. So the lyrics matched up with the title pretty well, like the image it painted was really like the boy was head over heels in love and crazy about this particular girl. Plus, I think the cute and energetic dance moves fits quite well too!
