Once I've started buying makeup, I can't seem to stop! Hehehe. So recently I've gotten some new Korean makeup products and have tried them out so here's what I think of these products ^^
The Face Shop: Face it CC Cream in #2 Natural beige.
I didn't actually buy this but it was given to me from V언니 it didn't suit her skin well so instead of throwing it out, she gave it to me. Heee. So far I really like it. I've been using it instead of my BB Cream which is also from The Face Shop. The colour of this CC Cream suits my skin very well. It dispenses with the press of a button and I think that this feature of the packaging it really good because it doesn't contaminate the remaining product but my only concern is when it's running low, will there be product wasted because it can't be pressed out.
I apply the CC Cream using a brush, just because I don't want to dirty my hands in the morning hehe, I find that the texture is pretty thick but once you spread it out on your face, it feels as though I'm not wearing anything as all. It gives a pretty natural finish. It's definitely a product I'll considering buying when it runs out!
Etude House: Styling Eye Liner in Brown.
This eye liner cost about 6 bucks and that was cheaper then most crayon liners out there. So I decided to get this to try and the colour is pretty nice. It applies on easily as well. The only thing that bugs me a little is that it smudges and it fades. So if I were to wear it out for the whole day, I would have to touch up. I tried applying on with and without eyelid primer and it stays better with eyelid primer though it still smudges.
Tony Moly: Double Needs Pang Pang Mascara in Blue
Yes, this is literally blue mascara. I wanted to try out this look that Taeyeon had on for a magazine shoot but I have never seen blue or turquoise mascara before. One day I saw it at Tony Moly and I bought it right away. It may have been an impulse buy but after I tried it on, I really loved it!
It looks like this when applied. This photo was taken under good lighting so you can see the blue but otherwise your friends won't be able to notice it unless they come really close to you. It looks like black mascara from far. The only thing that was quite disappointing was that it doesn't really lengthen my lashes. So the next time I use this, I may have to apply a coat of black mascara first before coating on the blue.
This is the look that I tried with the blue mascara.
Taeyeon had on a turquoise mascara for her top lashes and blue mascara for her bottom lashes. I recreated this look using only blue mascara on my top lashes. I used Half Baked and Chopper from the Naked 2 palette applying it on the eyelid and under the eye before applying the mascara.
I'm pretty excited to buy more new makeup since now... I'm a member of Etude House! Yay!
I spent about 60 bucks the other day after I got my sister the new BB Cream and another SHINee MiniMe perfume for myself. Hehehe. I honestly love their packaging although it's a little costly. M always scolds me when I start exclaiming that everything is expensive. She says I can't go into people's shops and say their things are expensive. Hahaha. Well, I think that if people keep saying that often enough, they'll lower the prices ^^
